Who should take Game Design programs

This program is for students who are interested in game design, who are curious about the makings of video games and strive to understand the world of creation.

Courses in Game Design are for creative-minded students who are curious to understand the behaviour and psychology behind games and eager to learn the skills and methods for designing fun and engaging interactive systems. Students will spend time prototyping, testing, and developing different game ideas.

Students who excel in this program enjoy blending the mechanical, spatial and narrative aspects of the game experience. Game Design is a good fit for students who can envision putting themselves in the players’ shoes to create worlds and wonders through their imagination.

Are you looking for a game design degree that emphasizes human behavior, motivation, and the crafting of memorable interactive experiences? You may be suited to the Bachelor of Arts in Game Design program.

Do you want to build the systems and technology that make games possible? If so, the two computer science programs may be right for you.

Whichever program you choose, you’ll be exposed to a variety of subjects and ideas, as well as ample opportunities to create original games as part of a multidisciplinary team.
