*"President’s Technology Academy Scholarship" is also referred to as "The DigiPen Skills Center President’s Scholarship".
Scholarship 1: President’s Technology Academy Merit – CS Scholarship
This NEW scholarship aims to increase the number of recipients pursuing careers in computer science. It covers 50% of first-year tuition per year for up to four years for students who meet the following criteria:
- Successfully complete a full year of a WANIC or New Market Skills Center program with an "A" grade.
- Gain admission to any of DigiPen’s Computer Science (CS) degree programs for the following academic year.
Given that the tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year is $39,720 per year, this scholarship is valued at approximately $19,860 per year, totaling up to $79,440 over four years.
This scholarship applies to all five DigiPen CS degree programs. Students from any WANIC or New Market Skills Center track (Game Programming, Game Design, Art and Animation, or Music and Sound Design) are eligible as long as they meet DigiPen’s CS program admission requirements. This ensures that all students who demonstrate the academic and soft skills required for success are rewarded for their efforts.
Application Process:
Once admitted to a DigiPen CS degree program, eligible students will be invited to apply for this scholarship through the DigiPen Scholarship Manager. Please note that a separate application is required.
Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirement:
To continue receiving this scholarship, undergraduate students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0, in accordance with DigiPen's Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy.
Scholarship 2: President’s Technology Academy Merit Scholarship

This scholarship covers 50% of first-year tuition per year for up to four years, and three of these scholarships will be awarded, with one specifically designated for each of the following areas:
- Art
- Game Design
- Music
Application Process:
Once admitted to a DigiPen degree program in Art, Game Design, or Music, eligible students must apply for this scholarship through the DigiPen Scholarship Manager. The application deadline is March 1, 2025.
Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirement:
To continue receiving this scholarship, undergraduate students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0, in accordance with DigiPen's Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy.
WANIC Scholarship
Additionally, students who have successfully completed a college transfer course through the WANIC program with a grade of B- or better and choose to retake the same class at DigiPen Institute of Technology will receive a scholarship covering the tuition for that class. This is valid during the first year of enrollment at DigiPen. Given that the tuition per credit for the 2025-2026 academic year is $1,370, a typical 3-credit course would cost approximately $4,110. This scholarship ensures that students can retake such courses at no additional cost.
Application Process:
Students should submit their transcript, indicating the college transfer credit, to the Office of the Registrar upon registration. If they then choose to retake a class for which they have transfer credit, they will be credited with the tuition for that course.
