Online Workshops

About Online Workshops

Learn about video game programming, art and animation, and game design from home with online courses held in a variety of formats throughout the year. These courses combine rigorous curriculum with hands-on projects to give students valuable experience in video game programming and game art production.

ProjectFUN’s Online Workshops mirror many of the same topics covered at onsite Summer Workshops, but are engineered specifically to serve students learning remotely. Students who complete an online course that serves as a prerequisite for another course can take the next course in the series either online or on-site.

Each Online Workshop is a hybrid class that combines offline independent study with 30 hours of online classroom sessions conducted via Zoom.us, where students interact with their instructor and classmates. Students have access to reference material, schedules, and assignment postings through an interactive distance-learning website.
