WANIC Intro to Music & Sound Design

Program Description:

Students will embark on a journey into the art of creating music and sound effects designed specifically to enhance gaming and animation experiences. Through a combination of hands-on activities and expert guidance, students will have the opportunity to craft unique and immersive soundscapes. Delve into the fundamentals of music theory and sound design principles while gaining valuable insights into their applications in video game and animation industries. Join us at the DigiPen Institute of Technology Campus in Redmond, where students bring their passion for sound design to life!

ALL students in this class attend in person 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

This beginner-level program is introductory and designed for students with no prior exposure to the subject. 

 

Prerequisites:

This program is primarily for students entering high school (grades 9-12). Students must be part of the WANIC consortium (no out-of-consortium).
